The Mt. Diablo Region YMCA is currently in a multi-million dollar capital development campaign to construct full service YMCA centers throughout Contra Costa County. The Board of Directors of the Mt. Diablo Region YMCA has put together a careful and well-thought out plan to expand and modernize current facilities and to create new, urgently-needed family centers. The resulting capital development program will create two new branch facilities for the Delta Family YMCA in Oakley and the San Ramon Valley YMCA on the Danville/Alamo border. The existing Irvin Deutscher Family YMCA in Pleasant Hill will be expanded and remodeled to increase capacity, expand program opportunities and improve seniors and special needs accessibility.
All of our facilities will be state of the art youth, teen, adult, and family centers and will be key assets in our communities featuring aquatic centers, multi-generational program rooms, state of the art technology centers and teaching kitchens.
The new YMCA facilities will be a positive alternative that local youth, families and seniors are seeking an inviting place to congregate with peers and to grow in spirit, mind and body. Through the expanded high quality programs that we can offer on a much larger scale, it will also allow the Mt. Diablo Region YMCA to continue providing life-changing and life-enriching opportunities for our community today, tomorrow and for generations to come. No other organization serves so many people in so many ways.
