Are you dreaming of becoming mayor? Governor? President? The Mt. Diablo Region YMCA's Youth & Government program is a hands-on model government for high school students in Contra Costa County. With its motto, "Democracy must be learned by each generation," our Youth & Government program involves more than 3,000 students throughout California. The program was featured on ABC-TV's Assigned Education broadcast for program excellence.
